Hiking

Barton beach is largely open but, if you keep walking east, you can round the corner and find a secluded section. The views to the Isle of Wight and the Needles sea stacks are wonderful on a clear day.

Be mindful of erosion and never climb over a cliff fall.

Beautiful little beach, but take caution as there has been a lot of coastal erosion on the cliffs, and access down to it is not for the faint hearted.
