Popular around Rottachsee
I live in Kempten and the Iller is certainly not wild, not at any time of the year. I used to be a raft guide for 4 years in Austria and navigated the Sanna and the Ötztaler Ache at the limit (whitewater 5). The pictures from HP show the average or boring water level with (whitewater 2) on an inflatable boat tour. I have attached some pictures from the 1994 Rafting World Championship on the Zambezi at the Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Of the approx. 50 teams, one participant drowned during a 2-hour training tour. I reached 8th place with a German team. Maybe Gimmi will change his nonsensical text to "cozy Iller".
