The Herzles Trail is relatively short and easy to walk. There are many stations with games and sayings for children and adults. My starting point would be the spacious recreational area with free parking and plenty of play areas for children and young people. There's also a nice barbecue area.

At the well-maintained campsite at Badsee, you'll find the lovingly landscaped Herzlesweg (Heart Trail). A roughly 2.5-mile circular path through the forest, it features numerous heart-shaped markers with heartfelt sayings, opportunities to play games like Heart Memory and Heart Target, and activities to get your circulation going with squats and other activities. Highly recommended; it's relaxing, touching, and fun all at the same time.

A particularly beautiful path between the lakes.

Remote roads, little traffic. Across the Allgäu region, with stunning views of the snow-capped mountains. The route is only 50km long, but it has 760m of elevation gain. A constant up and down. Have fun!

I pass by here almost every time I'm on a tour and I'm happy to be able to rest a bit and reflect on the route I've just driven. Then there are only a few kilometers left to go! And something really special: There are always nice conversations with other people here. Unfortunately, there are also some here who aren't so strict about paying! It would be a real shame if this service were to cease to exist at some point.

Very interesting moorland landscape with some highlights. In winter, some sections are barely or not at all accessible because they are flooded and icy. The ice is not strong enough and you can end up standing in water up to your knees. It is better to turn back.

On January 25, 2025, some sections of the boardwalk were not there. Large parts of the path were flooded and still partly frozen, but it is easy to fall through up to your knees. Signs prohibiting bicycles on both sides. Of course I pushed and sometimes carried my bike. At the moment I would advise against this route.

There is a great playground right at the start of the Heart Trail! You can also visit cute goats there.
