Nature Reserve Guide
Gründlenried-Rötseemoos is a nature reserve located approximately 2.5 miles (4 km) north of Kißlegg in the Westallgäu hill country. This 347-hectare moorland features extensive bogs and fens, with peat layers up to 20 feet (6 meters) thick and small moor lakes. The terrain includes moraine ridges and flat elevations, remnants of the last ice age, providing a varied landscape for outdoor pursuits.
