Climb up chapel hill lane from Tintern as the lane steepens at the half way point take the gravel track to the left, which opens to a fantastic gravel forest track. On the corner of the switchback take a right onto a single track that is fairly overgrown. this climbs up steep, through two gates and then onto a field where you may need to push! Its worth it as the views at the top are stunning, looking both ways along the Wye Valley. This then joins a farm track.
