Hiking
The current church dates from 1784. Like many churches, it also suffered war damage (during WWI), which was repaired in 1920. Several smaller and larger restorations followed, the last in 1993 and 1996.
Colorful stained glass windows determine the atmosphere of the interior.

Hiking
In the 10th century, there is already a mention of a church building in Destelbergen. The current church from 1784 is the work of pastor Servranckx (1702-1792), religious of the Saint Peter's Abbey in Ghent.
