Take the road that snakes along the coast and you will not be disappointed. It passes through Ahakista, a small village set in woodland on Kitchen Cove. To the west of the village, is a Bronze Age stone circle. Just to the east of the village you will find the Air India Memorial Garden. On 23rd June 1985, a passenger plane with 329 people on board was blown up by a terrorist bomb. A memorial is held here every year on the anniversary of the disaster at 8am.
