Hawkstone Park Follies were a favourite destination for Victorians, and just as enjoyable to visit today. This strange collection of rocky outcrops and landscaped gardens around the ruins of a medieval castle has plenty to explore for all ages. There's also a tea room in a magnificent glass house for post adventure cake. Tickets required for entry. More information: hawkstoneparkfollies.co.uk
