March 26, 2026, Drinking Water Fountain in Ham

This painted cast iron fountain is accompanied by two limestone basins. Installed at the end of the 19th century, after the commissioning of the Coleù pump (pumping station), which drew water from the gravel of the Ourthe to a reservoir in Ham. Still in service, this fountain today allows walkers to quench their thirst. The connection to the mains water supply was made in 2000 by the Municipality via a grant obtained from the King Baudouin Foundation. The push-button water supply system was first installed, then replaced by a contemporary tap, installed and maintained by local residents.
