Coming from Mount Lemmon, you might expect to descend all the way down. You are wrong. It is more or less a trailish rollercoaster that gets you up and down the hills. Furthermore, it can be very windy up here. The views on the other hand, are fantastic.

The Aspen Draw Trail offers a moderately challenging 1.9-mile uphill hike, ending in a really nice viewpoint along the ridge. Dogs are welcome but should be leashed. Keep in mind that this trail is also a popular downhill mountain biking route, so keep your eyes open on the trail as you hike!

This trailhead to the Aspen Draw Trail sits at the end of East Turkey Run Road and has limited roadside parking. Visitors here are reminded to not block gates and driveways, as there are residences and private property next to the trailhead. If parking is full here, you can find parking further up the road near Summerhaven and walk to the trailhead.

This section of the Aspen Trail weaves around Marshall Peak and will give you incredible views over the Push Ridge Wilderness all the way down toward Tucson and beyond.

Approximately 1 mile before small descent. Usually open and available to refill water bottles. However it was not open on 5/1/21, probably a good idea to call ahead and check.
