Beautiful village at the top of the Vall d'Àssua. Don't miss Cal Kiko - a great restaurant with traditional food.

The cable car takes you from about 1700 to 2100 m and thus to a good starting point in the southern Aigües Tortes area. More accessible and less crowded than from the northeast via the Estany de Sant Maurici.

Torre de Capdella was, according to some documents, in 1178 the economic center of the valley. Today it is a small town that offers you incredible views of the valley. It belongs to the Pallars Jussá region, within Vall Fosca.

Another of the tunnels that we found during our passage through the Vall Fosca greenway. An emblematic place, at 2200 meters of altitude, we will cross an old train track, currently in disuse, and we will cross its tunnels. In few places in the world can we find a train track at such a height! If we go with children, I recommend taking a small flashlight to cross the tunnels, some are a little longer or have the occasional puddle.

As we pass through the Vía Verde de la Vall Fosca, we come across this lake of glacial origin, located in the Vall Fosca, at 2,140 m above sea level. There is an information point nearby. Easy access is from the Vall Fosca cable car (tickets must be purchased online)
