If you need to rest, there is a good bench here in this parking area next to River Glore. Not only this, there is actually a path down to the river here, which is not often the case with this particular river, so do use that opportunity.

This bridge over the River Glore offers a great view of it flowing peacefully (unless after rain! then it's a monster!) through the countryside. It's also a great place to rest your back on the side of the bridge and listen to the stream's song. Very peaceful here, and very green.

A wonderful, amazingly peaceful stretch of a road between Upper Lough and Cullonaughton. It is on road, but you're unlikely to see anyone here - it's superbly green, lush, slightly overgrown and you will feel as though you've left it all behind you.

Here in the Wetlands Amenity Park is this impressive sculpture by Sally McKenna. This was unveiled in 2003. The five-part sculpture tells a folk story from Kiltimagh. The salmon here is made from sheet steel and copper and encrusted with over 2500 old Irish coins

Beautiful trail run. Currently (Aug 2025) the path along the lake is not possible due to felled trees.

Great forest path, with many fallen trees, karst holes, karst streams that appear short and then flow underground.
