The Merrimac Ferry is a free ferry crossing the Wisconsin River. It operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from April to December. In the winter months, the river freezes, so the ferry takes its off season.

This is an incredible gorge cut into the Baraboo Hills. The giant boulders are covered in vibrant moss and surrounded by many species of trees like mountain maple and red elder. If you visit on your bike, you'll need to secure it near the start of the trail and continue on foot.
