Orthodox churches are usually beautiful and fascinating, but this one is exceptionally beautiful and interesting. It is a former Greek Catholic church built in the early 18th century. In 1987, it was added to the list of historical monuments and included in the Podkarpacie Wooden Architecture Trail.

It's worth stopping at the Freedom Monument in Nowe Brusno. Built to commemorate the tenth anniversary of Poland's regaining of independence in 1928, the eagle sculpture was unfortunately destroyed by Ukrainian nationalists during World War II. In its place, a stone cross, made in the 1960s, still stands. It's an interesting historical site.

The Horaj Forest is not only a place of rest for tourists and nature lovers, but also an important historical point. Every year, ceremonies are held here to commemorate the Battle of Oleszyce in September 1939. In this battle, soldiers of the 21st Mountain Infantry Division under the command of General Józef Kustroń resisted the German troops. General Kustroń, who personally led the fight, died in this battle, and today his heroism is commemorated by a monument located in the Horaj Forest. The forest can be admired in a new version, thanks to the work carried out by the Oleszyce Forest District.
