Tips from the Community

October 4, 2024, Chesterfield Settlers Cemetery

Had to include this very unusual find. I am assuming that this was a family cemetery and when the new levee, on top of which this bike trail runs, was built it must been over the old cemetery. So they relocated the cemetery to the top of the levee. These are very old, dating back to the 1890's. Be respectful and do not desecrate this place.

This trail provides a woodland excursion through the beautiful forest within the boundaries of the City of Wildwood. The trail is wide, paved and perfect for running. The elevation is higher further away from the river, and lower as you get closer, creating a nice challenge on the legs. You'll get lovely views of the river as you move toward the southern end of the trail.

This is a lovely park and garden to run around that has a pretty lake, waterfall, fountain, public toilets and picnic shelters. A fully paved, flat path leads you around the entire park.
