The Hermitage of San Isidro is located on the slopes of El Boalo, very close to the town centre. It was built with local masonry by the local residents, reflecting the devotion of the inhabitants of El Boalo to San Isidro, patron saint of cattle breeders and farmers. Every 15th of May, a pilgrimage is held in honour of San Isidro, where locals and visitors take part in a day in the countryside full of hospitality and festivities. The hermitage is located at the foot of Peña Mediodía and next to the ecological recreational area of the same name.
