Even though it is no longer active, the remains of an ancient salt marsh remain here.

The Ingril pond is one of the ponds which constitute the lagoon between Sète and Palavas. It is cut in two by the Rhône à Sète canal.

A magical place in a beautiful setting, a green setting that calls for serenity and a superb view of the Etang de Thau. The Gravel climbs on the slopes (from the Col de la Tortue or from the D612 at the junction with the D114E3 which goes to Vic) are a bit physically demanding but it's still a treat, I loved this place!
