The cheese tastes super delicious here 😋 If you ask nicely, you can get a private tour of the cheese dairy. There is a drinking water source. Since it was already late, we were allowed to pitch our tents nearby, sheltered from the wind (see photo of tent in the cave)

Instead of pasta, paninis, and cakes, they serve entrecôte and salad. Not for cyclists or hikers.

Here you'll find many fire salamanders, which emerge from their hiding places when it rains. Keep an eye out!

In our hiking guide, the hike was given as taking 4.5 hours. These are tours that we like and can manage well. However, this one took us almost seven hours, and that was without long breaks. (Maybe 3 x 15 minutes). In our opinion, you should set off early so that you don't get stressed in the evening. We are 56 and 58 years old, not particularly trained, and found the hike very beautiful, so recommendable, apart from the first part along the ski lift. But it was also strenuous. Till and Betty
