In 2015, on one of my 7 trips to England, I was poorly prepared and looked for visible remains of Hadrian's Wall. I was only aware that remains could be seen in a nearly uninhabited area west of Hexham. Coincidentally, I then quickly came across the Steel Rigg cliffs and the "Robin Hood tree" Sycamore Gap.
