January 16, 2023, Pendle Hill Loop from Barley

Great walk on really cold Winter day. From the car park in Barley we walked the length of Ogden Clough (local name for a moorland valley). The icy cold helped by freezing the muddy peat on the path. Passing both the Ogden reservoirs before emerging onto the ridge and into the sunshine. Fabulous ridge walk with views North to Yorkshire. The summit was bitter cold. Shorter route down the stepped path back to The Cabin cafe for coffee and cake. https://youtu.be/U0ysALYNSdA

Pendle for the second time this year.. wet and overcast but still a fave 🧙‍♀️ (also forgot to pause for lunch so timings off 🤪)
