Folsom Historic Truss Bridge

Highlight (Segment) • Bridge

This bridge was built in 1893 and became defunct in 1917. In 1930, the bridge was dismantled and moved to Walker, California, to serve traffic crossing the Klamath River. The bridge was replaced in the 1990s, giving Folsom a chance to have it back, and in 2000, it opened up as a pedestrian bridge.

On the west bank of Folsom's Lake Natoma at the American River, the park includes the historic Black Miners Bar area, the site of a gold rush era African-American mining camp.
