    Hiking

On the way up, this is where the adventure really starts, totally surrounded by mountains. On the way back down, you know you are nearly back, only around 20 minutes to the car! It's also a great place for a photo or a selfie.

In my opinion the better route up to great end and Sprinkling tarn, Grains ghyll is quite Alpine feeling.

Stockley Bridge is a grade II listed building believe it or not, and is an early to mid 18th century Pack Horse Bridge.

If I remember correctly, there is an old Pack Horse route near Styhead Pass, which you can clearly see from the corridor route up to Scafell Pike.

Whether the route continued to Seathwaite I am unsure of, but it seems plausible.
