Saddleback Mountain Summit Park sits at the top of the escarpment, surrounded by open grassland, farmland and beautiful views across the Illawarra and South Coast. The summit includes picnic areas and several viewing areas, with the main lookout offering expansive coastal views that, on a clear day, stretch from Cronulla in the north to Milton in the south. It’s also the starting point for Hoddles Track, making this a good place to stop for a picnic and take in the scenery before heading into the bush.
