Perry Lakes Reserve protects one of Perth's most significant urban wetland systems, where East and West Lake support a rich variety of birdlife, turtles and native vegetation. Once part of a much larger chain of Swan Coastal Plain wetlands, the reserve is now the focus of ongoing restoration to improve biodiversity while providing a peaceful place to walk, watch wildlife and connect with nature close to the city.
