    Salt Pan Creek got its name from colonial settlers, who harvested salt from the swamp by evaporating saltwater. In the early 1800s, this was also the site of an uprising by Aboriginal people against colonial settlement. Today, it's a peaceful waterway with bridges and boardwalks where hikers can cross and look down at the water and animals below.
