Its main feature is that along the entire length of the bridge there are 3 humps like a donkey's back.
A Romanesque bridge, it was for centuries the most important access to the town and to the "Via di Reggio". The structure, with three arches and a flat back, preserves in the center the aedicule with a majesty, a common feature of many medieval bridges with a clear meaning of protection from floods and for the devotion of those who passed through it.
