This hiking stick was the symbol of the 111th hiking day in 2011 in Melle. It originally stood at the station on the forecourt in Melle as a welcome greeting for the Melle guests on the hiking day.

🪵🥾🌲Since the walking stick is now located very close to the Else Water Trail and the Peace Garden, you can easily see it during a walk through Grönenberg Park. It's a popular photo subject, especially because of its impressive size compared to a normal walking stick.
