Explore the former railway path from Maud to Strichen by passing under the low bridge near Platform 5 cafe, then keep an eye out for the start of the Fraserburgh section on the opposite side of the road after a left turn.
Take a detour to the Strichen Stone Circle and enjoy views of the ruined Strichen House as you approach Strichen, where shops, cafes, a bar, and a hotel await for a well-deserved rest.
