The statue of the "Bokkenrijder" (Goat Rider) originally stood in the Oude Markt (Old Market Square) in Overpelt (now Pelt) and was moved to the Rectory Garden in 2020 due to vandalism. The statue was unveiled in 1960 to commemorate the bicentenary of the birth of bailiff Clercx.
