Middle Fork Loop seems to get somewhat rerouted every few years, thanks to persistently muddy conditions that seem to defy the hard work of trail crews. This is the routing for this section as of July 2023. All told this trail encompasses a 9-mile loop that travels on both sides of this valley with relatively elevation gain, but some great views when it's not socked in by grass and brush.
