"The Manchurian noble walnut (Juglans mandchurica) is a beautiful and demanding tree, which is usually found in Europe only in gardens where special tree species are invested in. It requires moist, humus-rich and nutrient-rich soil as well as a lot of light for its growing medium. Due to its large leaves, it suffers from strong winds. The Manchurian noble walnut leaves are formed of paired leaflets and can be up to 70 cm long. The tree is 6-15 meters tall. It flowers in June and produces a plum-sized, edible fruit.
