Terminus of the Fairbourne Railway where it is possible to get a little ferry across to Barmouth. There is a station building with café and toilets. The café is usually only open in high season. Check the Fairbourne Railway website for details.
Beautiful views up across to Barmouth and upbthe Mawddach estuary and on clear days over for Cader Iris.

The small ferry will take bikes for a fee. There is a café at the station but limited opening times - possible only weekends or school holidays when the train is running.
