Forget what Komoot says... this is a legitimate byway. Much better than it initially looks, though could be tricky in winter or after a lot of rain. The western end passes across a field which is surprisingly smooth before joining with a single track which soon becomes a gravel track. Great to combine/link with the off-road ascent/descent of the Tresham valley and the (very close by) short restricted byway to the east which takes you to Knockdown Road from where it is possible to access the arboretum via other bridleways.
