The plateau was bordered by a high log wall, inside which natural caves opened and under which the patrons sheltered from sudden summer showers.
Now the building is abandoned. Behind the mill was in service, until the 1950s, a boat which, hooked with a chain to an iron rope anchored on both banks, ferried passengers from the Milanese to the Bergamasco and vice versa.
