This remarkable stone pillar, with the inscription "Wijgartsberch gilde 27-1-’81" proves that we are here at the entrance of the Wijngaardbos on the border of Tongeren and Hoeselt. It concerns a fruit wine that is fermented in a special way. In honor of the fruit harvest, an annual harvest walk is held, during which a delicious glass is naturally drunk.
