Hampton-on-Sea is a along to coast from Herne Bay in the direction of Whitstable
There are a number of groynes and other sea defences- this part of the coastline has been the subject of significant coastal erosion. From the beach there are views out over the Thames Estuary.
Parking with public toilets can be found adjacent to the pier, at the end of Hampton Pier Avenue.
