Harrow-on-the-Hill is a village within the western edges of London. With commanding views over the city, it is home to Harrow School, a boarding school dating from the 16th century. It is said that King Charles I stopped here to take a last look at the city as he fled Oxford on his way to surrender to the Scottish Army.
