Hiking
The tombs cannot be missed as they are surrounded by a wooden railing and are signposted. They are right on the edge of the road.

Hiking
It's easy to walk past - but below the chapels in St. Odilie you have a second chance :-)

Traces from the Merovingian era, dating back to the 5th to 8th centuries, can be found on Mont Sainte-Odile. The graves bear witness to the early settlement and the importance of the mountain as early as the early Middle Ages. They are connected to the history of Hohenburg Abbey and Saint Odilia, who founded a monastery on the mountain in the 7th century. Thus, the Merovingian graves are among the oldest historical testimonies around Mont Sainte-Odile.
