Hiking

The Citadel Park was laid out in 1875, designed by H. Van Hulle, on the site of the citadel, which was built between 1819 and 1831. The landscaped park features numerous deciduous trees, lawns and flowerbeds, wide avenues, ponds, artificial grottoes, waterfalls, rose gardens, and a pergola.
