After the death of the Swedish King Gustav Adolf, numerous riders made the heath unsafe. Many people tried to hide from them, including mother Margarethe from Gommlo with her daughter Berta. However, they were discovered and while fleeing, one of the riders injured Berta with his sabre. A short time later, she died, seriously injured, in the arms of her fiancé, who had found her.
