This pub is at the bottom of Bedlinog hill, one of the steeper hills in the immediate area. it leads up to Gelligaer common with its views of the Brecon Beacons. The T junction you will come to goes to Gelligaer in one direction and to Rhymni, Merthyr and the heads of the valleys in the other.
