From the highest point of the Hermannsfelsen, a path with steps leads in serpentine steps down to the Kaltenbrunnertalbach stream. A signpost at the top of the rock is unfortunately overgrown with vines. The inscription reads: "Hermannsfelsen - dedicated by the Neustadt Beautification Society in honorable memory of its deserving chairman, Mr. Hermann Kempf, 1879."
