If you can find somewhere secure for your bike the coffee is pretty good at 'Flavours' in Carlton Lanes Shopping Centre - alternatively you could try nearby Cykel House Bike Shop (with coffee) on Francis Street.

Fairburn Ings nature reserve is managed by the RSPB. It used to be a coal mine but has been transformed over the last 60 years to a haven for wildlife.
