Definitely worth continuing on the red white path past the bridge once the 806 route finishes. After half an hour you’re at the mouth of the glacier and it exceeded my expectations. Stunning area!

A good seven-kilometer-long path leads along the Rosegbach up to the breathtaking glacier panorama at the Hotel Roseg Gletscher. Winter guests don't have to miss out on this either: In the cold season, a classic cross-country ski track is groomed up to the hotel and sometimes even to the glacier. The immense forces at work in this mountain world were demonstrated in spring 2024 by a gigantic rockfall on Piz Scerscen, which is just under 4000 meters high.
