The listed Evangelical Lutheran Parish Church of St. Peter and Paul is located in Wettringen, a municipality in the Ansbach district (Middle Franconia, Bavaria). The choir tower of the hall church was built in 1447. Its eight-sided, angular roof was added later. The top floor houses the clock tower and the bell cage. After fire damage during the German Peasants' War in 1545, the nave, the width of which was equal to the choir tower, was extended to the west with a timber-framed storey, which served as a tithe barn for Rothenburg. It was covered with a gable roof with a hipped roof on the west side. The interior of the choir, i.e., the ground floor of the choir tower, is covered with a cross-ribbed vault, while that of the nave, which features surrounding galleries, has a timber-beamed ceiling on joists. According to the inscription, the tabernacle dates from 1447. The winged altar was built after 1515, and the pulpit in 1581. The choir stalls from the second half of the 15th century have been preserved. Source: Wikipedia

A beautiful lake for swimming in the summer. Unfortunately it is next to the motorway, but it is located on various hiking trails.

Here the traveler gets all sorts of things, including coffee and cake. There is also an e-bike charging station outside with various connections, but mainly for a less common system. Right next to it there is also a normal charging station, where you can probably get electricity if necessary.

Here you can get fresh baked goods, sandwiches, coffee or tea and of course cold drinks. All other items such as fruit or other food are also available here. The Tauber spring is also not far from here, so you can connect a few things. Friendly and helpful service is a matter of course, everything is great! Outside there are also e-bike charging options for people who are about to run out of juice. 😉👍 However, you have to have a special cable from Bike Energy for your respective bike, everything else does not fit here. However, I also discovered a Schuko plug on the underside. However, I cannot say whether the electricity will bring it. A charging station for cars has now also been built, which can also be used for charging if necessary.
