The wings of the Galarieholländer mill, built in 1852, turned for about 100 years. After that, this mill also fell victim to the great mill death in East Frisia. Also in 1991, the association "Möhlenkring Rhaude/Holte e.V." was founded. With a lot of volunteer effort, the mill was restored to such an extent that the octagon and the mill cap could be put on in 1996. In 1997, the wings were mounted, so that the structure is complete again. The mill is used as an event and exhibition space.

The newly designed and newly asphalted section is now one of my favorite trails. Wide track, outstanding view and in the forest section, bird 🐦 chirping

The swimming lake is located in the Steenfelde nature recreation area. Separated from the swimming lake by a dam, there is a nature reserve lake on the west side, where swimming and fishing are strictly prohibited. At the swimming lake, there is a sandy beach on the north shore, and a bathing area of approx. 1.3 m deep is separated by buoys for children and non-swimmers. There is no lifeguard. Surfing, riding, and dogs are not allowed.
