The core of the Old Town Hall in Holzkirchen was probably built in the 17th/18th century. The new town hall was built next to the old town hall. The two-story, gabled, gable-roofed building with stepped gables was rebuilt in neo-Gothic style in 1842 and 1896.

Not only a beautiful view, but also very close to two exciting paper mills and a parking lot with e-charging stations

The parish church of St. Ägidius is the oldest church in the Tegernsee area. While the exterior is rather plain and modest, the interior was remodeled in the Baroque style in the 18th century. Of particular note are the paintings on the high altar and the left side altar, which are by Hans Georg Asam, the father of the two famous Asam brothers. At the foot of the parish church stands the "Maria-Hilf-Kapelle," a plague chapel built between 1634 and 1636 during the Thirty Years' War.
