Monte Santa Croce

Highlight โ€ข Viewpoint

Reaching this peak is not very simple, good training and good technical ability are required, it is also probable that if you are unable to continue pedaling you will be forced to do a short push piece, but trust me it is worth it for the view will wait.

Monte Manico del Lume Summit

In the direction of Rapallo, from here begins the trail for experts with safety chains. The approach has sometimes steep and rocky sections to be tackled with great caution. Very well marked trail. Absolutely not recommended with strong winds and poor visibility

Monte Fasce Summit

Highlight โ€ข Summit

Tear up to the antennas with a slope of 17% and peaks of 20%. It is worth for the panorama from which Genoa is dominated. But be careful because the asphalt is almost non-existent. Big holes and many stones. There are also huge puddles of mud that hide everything. It can also be dangerous. Not recommended for little trained and inexperienced. In addition to strength it takes technique to get on (and then get off!) There with a racing bike.

Summit of Monte Bado

Highlight โ€ข Summit

Top of 911 meters above sea level from where you can enjoy a spectacular view!
The view ranges from the Ligurian hinterland to the western Alps on one side to the Gulf of Genoa and the east on the other.
The well-marked path starts from the asphalted road that climbs after Cornua houses towards Genoa. Keeping to the right, the path begins after 500 meters.
No difficulty. But be careful there are no water points. Stock up at Case Cornua.

May 11, 2026, Monte Manico del Lume Summit

Should have read some of the tips here lol. It's easy to go up if you're coming from Santuario Basilica di Nostra Signora di Montallegro but going down the other way is not for the faint of heart if it's foggy, windy and wet, let me tell you from experience. Almost pissed myself lol. If it's dry and you have a light backpack it's probably not as scary. If you mastered the few scary chain decents you can nope out to Chignero which is an easy path again luckily.

Stretch traveled from Rapallo to Recco. Beautiful, nothing complicated, just be used to walking on paths slightly more complex than the simple beaten track. Fun and beautiful landscape. Recommended!
