This panoramic path south of Domus de Maria, and not far from its seaside hamlet Chia, is located almost sheer above the sea and is of great beauty. It is in fact one of the southernmost areas of Sardinia and the coast here, with its sea and beaches, is wonderful.

The Cala D'Ostia tower is located in Santa Margherita, a small hamlet of Pula, renowned for its beaches, camping and, of course, the tower. Built by the Spanish in 1601, it was built with the aim of defending and monitoring the kingdom. Located near the Coltellazzo di Nora tower, it overlooks the cove known as "Cala De Hostia," or the mouth of the river, to the west.

Bithia, once immortalized by great scholars such as Pliny the Elder and Claudius Ptolemy, stood proudly on the southern coast of Sardinia, where the sea waves now crash against the remains of this powerful Phoenician city, which lived for over a millennium until to its end in the 5th century. However, his legacy remains hidden in the shadows of this Roman road. There's no shortage of highlights: the glittering sea stretching spectacularly beneath you will leave you breathless more than once. And then there are those special places where the old cobblestones reappear under your feet. A fleeting moment which at the same time makes you feel the presence of those times when Romans and Phoenicians set foot on these paths.

Via Flumendosa runs along a stretch of coast between Santa Margherita and La Pineta. It is a recommended passage on the seafront to be covered by bicycle. Accompanied by the sea on one side and the trees on the other.
