The natural amphitheater of Bogn (also known as Orrido del Bögn or Baia del Bogn) is one of the most spectacular and iconic spots on Lake Iseo. Located on the Bergamo shore in Riva di Solto, it presents itself as a magnificent inlet characterized by gigantic vertical slabs of limestone dating back over 200 million years. The rocks plunge sheer into emerald-colored waters, offering an exotic landscape that is very reminiscent of the bays of Thailand or the Philippines.

I leaned my Triban 120 against the bench, but the lake was hidden by vegetation. Probably the bike is the first decathlon to reach san Defendente

San Defendente offers an extraordinary view of the lake, from Lovere to Monte Isola to the southern shore, and of the Corna Trentapassi. For this reason, it is among the most beloved places in Solto Collina, a destination for walks and for a popular festival on the first Sunday of July. The church is currently managed by the local Alpini group. Documents from 1574 attest to bequests for the construction or renovation of the building, which was guarded over the centuries by laypeople residing in the structure annexed to the church.
